You can't expect seasoned Eve players with an awareness of history to let you off that lightly. If you don't want to discuss scandal and misdeeds don't bring up the subject.
Well Jade, I guess you would describe your self as a seasoned eve player. I however am a Goon, which means that I am a rifter flying easy swattable bee ?
In some ways thats true offcause, however I have been in eve since January 2004 and that has teached me a few things... well one thing really: Kill Bob, they deserve it. The reasons behind that are many, but the main reason is the game mechanich exploits that they them selves introduced, using them mercilessly and the treason towards allies and even pets, they made that their hallmark trait in the last 5 years.
The realization came back in the day where Bob backstabbed ASCN, its not the oldest one i know from them, but it was that who was the reason for founding DS1 with one main goal: Kill Bob. We have worked that way ever since, and we will never relent until that goal is completely met. Kenny is Bob, so they inherited the honor of being our goal. Being a Goon has made this very possible and we all learned to love the crazyness inherent in all goons.
Weather we succeed.. time will show, but as i said, we will never relent and never give up :)
In before Jade makes some comment about the use of English in this post without considering the fact that the poster may not speak English as his primary language.
Its true, they did dig this grave themselves, and I find it hilarious that people like Jade exist on this forum attempting to cause some sort of mental damage to the goons. You're just one [small, tiny, insignificant] entity in this game. Whether you like it or not, the goons AND allies have done something no corp would of ever been able to do. Yes, they did it using non-traditional ways, but the way they did it was the only way to take out BoB. Goons know this, and why would they shame it? Jade, you have nothing on the goons, absolutely nothing. Your posts, your "hive mind" attacks, the insect insults.. they're all nothing. The goons do act like bees, because they understand that power comes in numbers. This has proven true in every single aspect of any sort of war, may it be digital or real. They are a corporation, they are a group of members fighting for a cause, or just for the fun. Do they resemble a hive mind? absolutely. Yet I cannot seem, in my little pubbie mind, to understand why anyone would consider that to be a bad thing. The goons in massive numbers, in their "bee like(this is not an insult, they present this image, you did not "analyze" it)", hive minded form have accomplished more in this game than you can ever hope to dream of together. Yes, individually the goons are nothing, but together, with their allies they are the terror that sits in the hearts of thousands of players that are losing the very foundation that they have built for all these years, and they're scared. Terrified. And so are you. The goons love it, they feed off it, it is exactly what they play this game for and every one of your teary eyed posts make them even more satisfied. You are accomplishing nothing. You are nothing. Neither am I, but you see, like the members of goonswarm and, well, most of the world, I don't give a damn.
P.S. you seem to have some sort of mental disorder. You should seriously see a shrink.
